'Nightmare Alley' es una película ambientada en el Nueva York de 1940, donde el estafador Stanton Carlisle se une a una vidente y su esposo, un mentalista, para robarle a un millonario. La película ha recibido una consensuada buena crítica, pero su score de audiencia en Rotten Tomatoes se sitúa en el 68%.
